Mr. T has joined restaurants on the street reportedly either wooed (Gigi’s, Sightglass Coffee) or invested in and owned by (Tartine, Mizlala) CIM Group, now one of America’s most prolific developers and one also changing the face of Los Angeles’s neighborhoods.

The menu offers dishes like roast lamb kebab and comte mac & cheese with mimolette flambé, alongside mains of carrot merguez frites; the “Uni” with Koshihikari rice, confit egg yolk and sea urchin crème; and caramelized half Liberty duck. A seasonal chef’s tasting menu is also available.

“When we finally decided to bring Mr. T to the U.S., it was tough choosing between New York and L.A. But to me, the local products, the produce, fish and meat from California are just some of the best in the world. To be able experiment and evolve our menu with some of the finest fresh materials we can have access to, it was a no-brainer to choose L.A.”
